General Terms and Conditions

  • The customer understands and accept that it has primary responsibility of giving clear and unequivocal instruction and specification in writing to the business before any work can commence.
  • The quotation is valid for 30 days from the date issued and VAT included.
  • The quotation is to be accepted only by reading of such quotation, including these terms and condition and followed by signature at the end indicating that said terms and condition have been read and understood and that the quotation is acceptable.
  • Once the work has been done installed to completion such work (including all fixtures and finishes) shall remain the absolute property of the business until the full invoice price/value has been paid to the business in a manner specified by the business.
  • No return policy for parts correctly supplied. Correctly supplied parts may be returned within 10 business days after purchased. A 10% handling fee will be charged.
  • A 100% deposit will be needed for “special order goods” and it is not refundable.
  • The customer shall have an opportunity to examine the completed work, and raise any immediate objection during examination. Notwithstanding the opportunity to examine the completed works, the customer shall be entitled within 10 business days to report to the business any defects (structural or otherwise) on the work done by the seller.
  • Repaired or quote rejected items are to be collected within 30 days after completion, thereafter a storage fee may be charged at R100 per day.
  • The customer needs to remove all valuables from their vehicles before leaving it at the business.
  • If the customer requires the old parts not to be returned after completion of repair or service, the customer must please indicate it in writing on the quote.
  • In order to validate our warranty, retain all your invoices and provide a comprehensive service history of the vehicle.
  • In case of parts or odometer tampering, no warranty.
  • Any work not authorised by THE BUSINESS will invalidate the warranty.
  • After an engine rebuild the vehicle must be serviced at certain Km (kilometers) after job completion.
  • No modification may be made to the vehicle unless authorised by the business. This will invalidate the warranty.
  • The warranty does not include loss and or damage resulting from normal wear and tear and or detonation arising through usage and age of vehicle.
  • Should the vehicle have a defect, failure or hazard, I will immediately inform the business and promptly claim my refund/remedy/repairs.
  • Pertaining to the fact that the supplier has provided warnings and safety instructions in advance, I accept that when handling the vehicle that I comply with these instructions. The manufacturer’s warranty conditions must be strictly adhered too in order to be valid.
  • The warranty period to repair/replace any defective or damaged goods is 3 to 6 months. This does not apply to ordinary wear and tear.
